Designing Better Healthcare Through Leadership & System Transformation
I believe healthcare isn't improved by working harder — it's transformed by designing smarter systems. With over a decade leading clinical pharmacy services, I build the structures that protect patients and empower professionals.
My Story
From Clinician To System Builder
I started where most healthcare professionals do — focused on one patient at a time. It took a residency in Toronto's SickKids Hospital to change how I see care entirely.
"I realized that healthcare is not delivered by individuals — it is delivered by systems. And when those systems are aligned, every patient receives better care."
That insight has driven every role I've held since: not just practicing pharmacy, but redesigning how it's practiced.
The moment that changed everything.
What I Do
Three Lenses. One Mission.
Clinical Pharmacy Leadership
Leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered clinical pharmacy services — from the bedside to the boardroom.
Medication Safety & Quality
Designing and implementing systems that reduce risk at scale — not just catching errors, but eliminating the conditions that create them.
System Transformation
Using data, Lean Six Sigma, and structured improvement methods to redesign healthcare processes reducing inefficiencies and improving outcomes at every level.
My Philosophy
How I Think About Healthcare
Fifteen years in clinical settings taught me that the most powerful intervention isn't always clinical — it's structural. The way a system is designed determines the care a patient receives.
Prevention over Reaction
Designing systems that stop problems before they reach the patient — not simply improving how we respond when they do.
Data as a Design Tool
Using analytics and evidence not just to measure performance, but to reveal where systems can be fundamentally reimagined.
Whole-System Thinking
No improvement in isolation. Every change ripples — which means every decision must account for the entire system it touches.
People at the Centre
Better systems protect not only patients — they support the professionals who deliver care under pressure every day.
Career Journey
A Decade of Building Systems
From residency at one of the world's great pediatric hospitals to leading clinical pharmacy services at Sidra Medicine — every step shaped by one conviction: that healthcare can be better.
